Can I exclude a specific sub-account from my analysis?

Yes, and the right approach depends on whether you want the sub-account to stay in your Net Worth picture or disappear from it entirely.

To keep the sub-account in Net Worth but exclude it from analysis and recommendations - use Asset Groups.

  • Open Asset Groups and put the sub-account in its own group (for example, a group called "Excluded" or "Tracking only").
  • Switch between groups via the Portfolio Selector in the left sidebar (or at the top of the page on mobile). Portfolio Score, Top recommendations, and retirement projections run on whichever group is active, so the excluded sub-account no longer drives those numbers when you're looking at the rest of your portfolio.

To remove the sub-account from Net Worth entirely - mark it inactive.

  • Open Net Worth, find the parent account, click the pencil (Edit) icon, and toggle Active off for the one you want to exclude. The sub-account drops out of Net Worth and out of every downstream calculation.
