Can I limit fund recommendations to only Vanguard, Fidelity, or a specific fund family?
Yes. PortfolioPilot lets you restrict recommendations to a single fund family:
- Open Preferences → Recommendations preferences.
- Find "Restrict to specific fund families?" and select the family you want (e.g. Vanguard, Fidelity, iShares, Schwab).
- Save.
From that point on, fund suggestions come only from the family you picked. On the same page, you can also flip the "Do you want to only show index funds?" toggle if you'd rather see index-only suggestions across all families.
Restricting to one family can reduce the number of available suggestions if your portfolio already holds the strongest options from that family. You can change or remove the restriction at any time, and the next recommendation run will reflect the new setting.
