How do I add individual bonds (Treasury, munis, corporate) with proper maturity dates?

Individual bonds held directly (not through a fund) can be added manually in Net Worth:

  1. Open Net Worth - "Add an asset" - Securities - "Enter or copy/paste securities". You can also upload a recent statement (PDF, screenshot, Excel, or CSV).
  2. Search by CUSIP or ticker. If not found, click "Create custom security".
  3. Enter the Name, Ticker, Amount (Market Value), and set Asset class to Fixed income. Include the maturity in the security name so it stays visible next to the holding (e.g. "US Treasury 4.5% 2028").

Price updates: For Treasuries and other government fixed income, prices are kept current using a government fixed-income index as a proxy. For corporate or municipal bonds, you can attach a representative ETF under "Use proxy security instead" for automatic daily updates, or update the market value manually whenever you want a specific mark-to-market figure.
