How do I drag and drop accounts into Asset Groups?
Asset Groups let you organize accounts into separate buckets, each with its own risk preference. They're useful for separating real estate, private equity, the US portion of an international portfolio, or an emergency fund you don't want invested.
To add accounts to a group:
- Open Asset Groups.
- If you haven't created one yet, click Set up Asset Groups and give it a name.
- Drag and drop any account from one group onto another. Each account belongs to one group at a time.
Asset Groups set risk preferences only. For asset class targets, use the Additional context field in Preferences, or open the Analysis & comparison page to view target allocations side-by-side with an index or a draft portfolio.
To switch between group views, use the Portfolio Selector in the left sidebar (or at the top of the page on mobile).
