How do I restrict 401k suggestions to just the ones allowed in my account?

For 401ks, unfortunately right now we don't have a great way to let you to add the specific securities allowed in the account.

However, there are 3 options that might work for you as a workaround:

  1. Use Asset Groups to separate the 401k account. This allows you to exclude it from the recommendations, or perform analysis on that one account in particular.
  2. Use the Portfolio Optimizer for the one account to re-balance / re-weight existing securities.
  3. Create a Draft portfolio, add $1 of each of the allowed securities, and use the Portfolio Optimizer to find the right outcome for your risk preference.
