How do I add crypto held in a wallet (not an exchange) to PortfolioPilot?

PortfolioPilot supports many crypto wallets - first check if yours is supported by clicking “Add an asset” → Securities and searching for your wallet in the institution search. If your wallet isn’t listed, you can add your holdings manually:

  • Click "Add an asset" (top right) → Securities → "Enter or copy/paste securities"
  • Search for the cryptocurrency by ticker (e.g. BTC, ETH)
  • Enter the quantity you hold → Save
  • PortfolioPilot will pull the current price and include the position in your net worth

For crypto held on exchanges:

If your crypto is on an exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, etc.), check if it can be connected directly - click "Add an asset" → Securities, search for your exchange in the institution search (12,000+ supported). Coinbase, for example, appears as a popular connection option.
