How do I add holdings manually one by one?
You can add any security manually without connecting a brokerage:
- Click "Add an asset" (top right) → Securities → "Enter or copy/paste securities"
- Type a ticker symbol (e.g. AAPL, VTI, BTC) or security name in the search box
- Select the matching security from the dropdown
- Enter the quantity (shares) or dollar value
- Repeat for each holding
- Give the account a nickname and set the Tax Treatment (Taxable, Tax-Advantaged, or Tax-Free)
- Click Save
For faster entry of multiple securities at once, use the "Add securities all at once" option to copy/paste a full list from your brokerage.
