How do I create a watchlist?

PortfolioPilot doesn't have a separate "watchlist" feature, but a Draft Portfolio works well as one. Set up the draft as your container, then look at the individual holdings on the views people actually use for watchlist-style monitoring.

  1. Open the Drafts page, click + Add Draft Portfolio, and name it (e.g. "Watchlist").
  2. Add the securities you want to follow by ticker.
  3. Switch to the watchlist via the Portfolio Selector in the left sidebar (or at the top of the page on mobile).

Where to look at your watchlist:

  • Track page heatmap. Open Track and scroll down to the heatmap card. Each square is one holding, sized and colored by its performance over the period you pick. The best at-a-glance view of how your watchlist is moving.
  • Details page. Open Details for the full table of stats per holding: market value, expected return, dividend yield, Sharpe ratio, market beta, and more. Click Customize view to pick the columns that matter for the way you watch.

You can keep multiple drafts side-by-side: a "long-term holds" draft, a "short-term ideas" draft, and one for each investing theme you're tracking. Switch between them using the Portfolio Selector to compare on the fly.
