How do I edit a Draft Portfolio - add, remove, or adjust holdings?

While in Draft Mode, the entire background turns purple so you always know you're working in a simulation. You can freely modify your holdings without affecting your real accounts in any way:

  • Add a security: Open the editing menu: in the Quick Actions bar (top left), click "Edit" to open the draft editing panel, then search for the ticker or security name to add it
  • Remove a security: Find the holding in the draft and click the delete/remove icon next to it
  • Adjust a position: Click on a holding to edit the quantity or dollar amount
  • Accept a recommendation into the draft: Go to Improve → Recommendations, find a suggestion, and click "Switch to draft" - the change is applied to your active draft
  • Run the Portfolio Optimizer: Go to Improve → Recommendations → Portfolio Optimizer to auto-generate an improved allocation within the draft

All changes are saved automatically to your draft. You can create multiple drafts and switch between them at Track → Drafts. From the Drafts page you can also delete individual drafts or clear all drafts at once.

To manage your drafts: go to Track → Drafts, where you can rename, delete individual draft portfolios, or delete all drafts at once. When you’re ready to act, use the Order Execution List (within the draft view) to see the exact trades needed to bring your real portfolio in line with the draft.
