How do I restore or go back to a previous Draft Portfolio state?

Once you save changes to a draft, the new state replaces the previous one. A few ways to recover or recreate:

  • Reset the draft to any saved portfolio or draft. Switch to the draft using the Portfolio Selector, then click Reset in the portfolio action bar. In the Reset portfolio dialog, select the source to copy from the dropdown - your live Net Worth Portfolio, the Demo Portfolio, a Group, or any of your existing drafts - and click Overwrite. The draft is overwritten to match the selected portfolio. You can reset the same draft as many times as you like, choosing a different source each time.
  • Create a new draft from scratch. From the Drafts page, click Add Draft Portfolio and rebuild the scenario you want to test.
  • Compare against a benchmark. Open Analysis & comparison and choose a benchmark as the comparison target.

Tip to avoid losing draft work: before making significant changes, switch to your live portfolio and click Draft in the portfolio action bar to create a fresh draft copy you can reference later. You can also generate the Order Execution List from a draft before resetting, which keeps a record of the trades the draft would produce.
