How do I see my projected portfolio value in 10 or 20 years?
The best way to see your projected portfolio growth is in the Retirement planner:
- Open the Retirement planner.
- The main chart shows your projected portfolio value over time, from today to the end of your plan.
- Hover over any point on the chart to see the projected value for that year.
The shaded band on the chart represents the 10th percentile outcome (a poor market sequence) and the 50th percentile outcome (the expected sequence) across all simulations — giving you both the central case and the downside in one view.
You can also ask the AI Assistant directly: "What will my portfolio be worth in 20 years?" — it runs a projection based on your current holdings, expected returns, and any income/expense assumptions in your plan. To explore different paths side-by-side, save them as what-if scenarios in the planner.
