How do I see which specific tax lots PortfolioPilot is recommending I sell for tax-loss harvesting?
Open Tax Optimization to see tax-loss harvesting opportunities: which positions have unrealized losses and the estimated tax savings from harvesting them. Tax Optimization suggests exactly which lot to sell and identifies it by its purchase date, so the lot you hand off to your brokerage is unambiguous.
For lot-level detail, open Transactions to see each tax lot with original purchase price, quantity, and transaction date. Use this alongside the harvesting suggestions to identify exactly which lots to sell in your brokerage.
