PortfolioPilot is recommending a fund that is closed to new investors - what should I do?
If a recommendation suggests a fund you can't actually buy because it has closed to new investors, our security database hasn't yet picked up the closure. You can clear it from your view right away:
- On the recommendation card, click Ignore... and pick a reason. Top recommendations will generate an alternative in its place.
- To suppress an entire category of suggestions (for example, a specific fund family), open Preferences → Recommendations preferences.
To get the closure flagged in our database, hit Report an issue next to the ticker in-app (fastest path into our data queue). You can also email support@portfoliopilot.com with the ticker. We'll investigate and fix it asap so it doesn't appear for other users either.
