What happens to my data after I cancel or downgrade my subscription?
Your data is not deleted when you cancel or downgrade - it stays safely in your account:
- All connected accounts, portfolios, and transaction history remain fully intact
- Your Portfolio Score, Asset Groups, Draft Portfolios, and retirement plan settings are all preserved
- The only thing that changes is your access to premium features - see below for what each plan includes
- You can resubscribe at any time from Settings → Subscription and pick up exactly where you left off
What changes on the free plan:
- You lose access to: personalized investing recommendations, tax optimization, fee analysis, AI assistant, and other premium tools
- You keep: net worth tracking, retirement & scenario planning, portfolio assessment, fund & stock discovery tools, estate planning checklist
Your data is only permanently removed if you explicitly request account deletion (Settings → Account settings → "Delete account"). That action is irreversible.
