Expansive universe of securities
In order to power the Global Predictions Recommendation Engine, Knowledge Graph, and World Monitoring System, Global Predictions pulls in and processes a large set of 10,000s of macroeconomic series, linking them to over 50,000 securities. These securities include individual equities, ETFs, Mutual Funds, and currencies (including many cryptocurrencies).
The Companies selection dropdown allows you to choose the security you're looking for to retrieve more information.
Non-obvious, insightful securities details
We have put together a relatively minimal set of the most important and non-obvious information that is useful for securities research. These factors are produced using Global Predictions core technology and helps power selection, recommendations, and other insights across the platform.
Detailed forecast:
This section shows information about how the individual forecasts are created, combined from a set of contributing forecasts. In the case of Apple, shown in the screenshot below, the expected return forecast is a combination of:
1) Market beta forecast for Apple (driven by risk and naive expectations with no alpha assumptions)
2) Total US stock market forecast
3) US Technology index forecast
4) S&P 500 index forecast
5) Proprietary Stats+ML forecast
The section also highlights other macro drivers that influence the forecasts and market moves of the security in question.
Macro factor sensitivities:
The macro factor sensitivities represent the degree to which the security's return will be influenced by an upside or downside surprise to the given macroeconomic factor. These can be positive or negative indicating the influence by the macro market, it is the magnitude that determines whether its high or low impact. For reference, 0 to 3 is low, 3 to 7 is medium, and 7+ is high impact.
Security Explorer is a great addition to your investment research toolkit.
