Although we hope you never need to disconnect your investment account, we make it easy to do so. If you unlink your account, you have the option to save it as a manual portfolio without any restrictions associated with a connected account. You can always relink your account with a few clicks to continue receiving automated updates.

Two Options to Unlink

To find your connected accounts, navigate to the Net Worth page by pressing any of your accounts on the left side bar of the Track page. This will take you to the Net Worth page, allowing you see your entire net worth, connected accounts, Asset Groups, manually entered portfolios, and draft portfolios.

Press account on left side of Track page to open up the Net Worth page
On the Net Worth page, press the garbage can icon to disconnect the account

Press "Disconnect" next to the account you'd like to unlink and a pop-up will appear asking you what to do with the portfolio data. If you choose to keep the portfolio as "manually added", all the portfolio items will stay in the system and the product will treat your portfolio as a manual portfolio -> the only difference will be that you will not get automated transaction updates to your portfolio, though prices will update as markets change. Any restrictions associated with your connected account will disappear (e.g. if you have a brokerage that blocks Personalized Recommendations, they will no longer be blocked). If you choose to delete the portfolio, all of your portfolio items will be removed from the system entirely.
